Happy Halloween!

Mylo and Robert are glad that Halloween only comes once a year because wearing a costume can sometimes get to be too much. Hope everyone has a great Halloween and gets more treats than tricks!

First Volleyball Game

Last night Robert attended his first Volleyball Game to cheer on the Wildcats! During his time at St. Kate's he played with my lifeguard Sarah while I coached practice, had dinner in the cafeteria with my swimmers Kayla & Kelley, got to huang out with my former assistant's family, and met the Sparby family who are close family friends and their daughter Whitney is a senior Volleyball player at St. Kate's. Here are some pictures from his adventures at St. Kate's.

Busy Weekend

We had a very busy but great weekend. Saturday morning started out with my team's first swim meet of the year and my girls did an amazing job. That evening we went to our good friends wedding in Plymouth. It was our first night out without the little guy (thanks to my brother and sister in-law for babysitting). We had a great time and are so happy for the Caauwe's!

Sunday brought more activities but again was a great day. In the afternoon one of my college roommates stopped by to meet Robert. We had a great time visiting and it was so nice to be able to catch up in person instead of over e-mail. Then that evening we headed down to Farmington to celebrate Eric's dad's birthday. I'm looking forward to resting up a little more this week and taking advantage of playing with my son as it is my last week before starting back full time.

Where are we going now mom?
Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Halloween Practice!

Today with it being fall break at St. Kate's we held our annual Halloween Practice. We don't get much done for practice but it is always a lot of fun and great to see so many costumes. Both Robert and my assistant coach's daughter were there to also participate and were by far the cutest in their costumes.

My Crazy Team!

Of course he is going to be a fish...what else would my child be?

Team Bonding and Robert's New Toy

This Saturday I went with my team to a High Ropes Course. I didn't participate in any of the climbing but the girls had a great time and it was a great way to start off our season and provide lots of team bonding. A lot of people doubted how the team would do since swimmers aren't known for being the most talented on land but they all did an amazing job and were great climbers. Here are a couple of pictures from the beautiful fall day.

And of course I can't add a post without a picture of Robert! He has been getting a little fussy lately so Eric and I thought it was time to get him a swing. We weren't sure if he was going to like it so we decided to get one from Once Upon a Child so that we weren't paying a lot of money for something he might hate. Luckily I found a great swing and Robert really likes spending time in it. He still enjoys being held by mom or dad more but it is nice for him to have somewhere to go when we need to wash bottles or go to the bathroom! I tried to get him to look at me in the picture and after many attempts I realized that there was more interesting things in our living room than his mom. Enjoy and look for pics of him in his Halloween costume after my team's Halloween practice on Friday!

4 Generations!

Today Robert got to meet his Great Grandpa Knautz and go to the Olive Garden for the first time. He slept during the entire time at the restaurant but his mom and dad were happy to get out of the house and spend time with Grandma and Great Grandpa.

Robert meets a new friend!

Today my good friend Abby visited us and our babies who were born a month apart finally got to meet. It was so much fun having someone to be pregnant with and it was great to finally meet Lucy and to see Abby again. Robert and Lucy didn't seem to have as much fun with their play date as their mommies but I'm sure that will change as they get bigger.

Back to work...and some cute pics!

This week I started back to work which is why I haven't posted anything lately. For this month I'm just going in for swim practices and Robert is coming in with me. In November I will go back full time and then Eric will be staying home with Robert. He has been a great baby at work and sleeps through most of the practice. My team has been great about offering up babysitting services, especially if it gets them out of doing homework. It has definitely been a tiring week but with such a great group of girls on my team it makes it worthwhile.

Here are some of the random pictures we've taken of our little boy in the past few weeks. I'm trying to get better about taking more pictures so I have more to post so hopefully there will be more to come soon!

Last week Robert tried to cheer the Twins on to a Playoff spot.

Are they winning yet?

Twins season is over...I'm going back to sleep!

Robert's 1st Wedding

This past weekend Robert attended his first wedding for one of my former swimmers. It was a beautiful day and wedding and I had a great time visiting with my old swimmers and they too had a great time meeting Robert.
